Fantastic burgers! And service was wonderful. When I asked to leave the bun off my burger, our waitperson asked if I wanted it wrapped in lettuce instead. She was very attentive and wanted to make sure I was happy with my food. A great experience!
Amazing place!! Jenny the owner is awesome, we enjoyed talking to her. My Dad is an old time Banta resident (relocated) and we enjoy visiting. He shared stories with Jenny about the old times and owners. We drive from out of town to visit here. Anna is always wonderful when we visit with our dogs, sitting on the patio. (if you have dogs, and want to eat here, call ahead so they can unlock the gate). Shannon and Ashley also, always excellent service and we love the food. Love the atmosphere. Amazing bar. Salmon is a favorite, but we have also enjoyed their desserts, Portuguese link sandwich and beans. BLT. Iced tea is great. We highly recommend the Banta Inn.

Overall very good experience! Just driving through town and we stumbled on this cute little spot!! Definitely would go back! Good was just right for a hearty breakfast meal! Service was fast friendly! The vibe was a mix of "the usuals" as well as "first timers"!
We had dinner there Friday evening. Was greeted well by waitress Anna she recommended the New York steak dinner the steak was delicious cooked perfectly. The sides were good also. Juan. The cook is a good chef. Good service we will be going back
Sunday early dinner- We were only ones there, great food and great service. Loved looking at the rustic decor on walls, old license plates.
A group of us came to the Banta Inn on a Wednesday night and had the pleasure of having "Ashlee" as our server. Ashlee was professional, efficient and quick. She said it was only her third day and we were very impressed with how well she took care of us!
Hubby and I wanted to come in to see this historical place and have a small bite to eat. Our server was very welcoming and friendly. It was a little busy so there was a short wait no problem. We were able to walk around and look at everything. Just wish I was able to look at a binder they like to pass around tables with lots of history. We ordered a personal pizza and garlic fries. Was so hungry I forgot to post pics of our food. But we will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Love everything about this place!
Great place for the food and fast food and great beer and the camaraderie. It's like being in cheers but smaller a perfect meal heading back or from Bay Area . And yes rummers say it haunted too. So have a great meal and drinks . And if you want to leave a dollar on the wall.... Do it !
Dinner is always great Every time we stop by Banta inn (which is mostly on Fridays so we can enjoy the clam chowder since it's the daily special and is so good!) Parking is never a problem and we always get our choice of seating right away! We love to have Tiffany as our server since she is such a superstar waitress, so lovely and always personable and accommodating. We've been there when she's been the only server in the whole place taking care of everyone in the joint as well as when it was pretty dead and we were the only ones there and she consistently provides stellar service! The food is so flavorful and tastes like home cooking! We love getting some of our favorite things every-time as well as mixing it up and adding in things we haven't tried yet and the food always tastes wonderful.
